Terms of Service
Short. It grows only when the product does.
1. Effective date
These Terms are effective as of 2026-07-08 and govern your use of Glovrex ("the Service"), operated by mahirhir ("we", "us"). Glovrex is an early, pre-launch build. Features change frequently (the changelog is the honest record) and these Terms may change with them. Material changes will be announced on the changelog at least 7 days before taking effect.
2. What the Service is
Glovrex stores your data as plain files in a private folder scoped to your account, on the machine Glovrex runs on. Signing in — with Google, Discord, GitHub, or email and password — creates that account, at no charge. There is no hosted sync across multiple machines yet and no paid tier yet. Sections of these Terms that reference future paid capabilities apply only once those capabilities actually exist.
3. Your content
Everything you paste into Glovrex and everything it extracts or builds from your input is yours. We claim no license over it. It lives as plain files in your account's own folder. A self-serve export or delete tool does not exist yet; until it does, email us or open an issue on the public repository and we will export or delete it by hand, promptly.
4. AI features
Extraction and generation features send the text you explicitly submit to third-party model providers (currently Google Gemini) under those providers' API terms. You agree not to use these features to generate unlawful content, to impersonate real people, or to infringe third-party rights. AI output can be wrong; you are responsible for what you ship with it.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service to produce or distribute unlawful, harassing, or infringing material; (b) attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to any hosted infrastructure we operate; (c) misrepresent output produced with the Service as independently verified fact.
6. Intellectual property
The Glovrex name, mark, and source code are owned by us and licensed under the terms stated in the public repository. Your content is excluded from this — see section 3.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. It is an early build: expect breaking changes, including to what is stored and how. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.
8. Termination
You can stop using Glovrex at any time; nothing is held hostage. We may suspend access for conduct that violates these Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of Tokyo, Japan.
