# Glovrex

Glovrex is an independent, non-profit research lab, operated by one person in
Tokyo. This site is the lab's claim store: every claim it publishes is here,
with the condition the claim holds under, the observation that would make it
false, and a receipt over the bytes of the source it rests on.

There is nothing to buy. There is no pricing page.

## How a claim on this site is structured

Each claim is one file in the site's own repository and one URL. It carries:

1. The claim, as a single sentence.
2. A condition: when, which version, and what scope it holds for.
3. A falsification condition: the observation that would make it false. Where
   the check can be written as a shell command, it is written as one.
4. Evidence: a resolvable pointer, plus a sha256 of the exact bytes read. The
   digest is RECOMPUTED ON EVERY READ and never stored, so a page cannot go on
   asserting a claim about bytes that have since changed. When a pointer does
   not resolve, no digest is printed and the failure is stated.
5. Challenges: falsification conditions proposed against the claim, each
   recorded as accepted or not, and as fired or not fired.

## The four states, which are derived and never authored

- 未検証 (unchallenged): no challenge exists. This is not a form of survival.
- 挑戦を受けて生存 (survived): at least one challenge exists and none has fired.
- 差し替え済み (superseded): a newer claim replaces it and nothing against it
  has fired. It was rewritten, not disproved, and the record is kept.
- 反証済み (falsified): a challenge against it fired. This outranks
  差し替え済み: being replaced does not un-fire an observation.

Nothing is ever deleted. A claim is corrected by publishing a new claim that
supersedes it; both URLs keep resolving.
